OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder)

When relief never seems to last.

OCD can pull you into unwanted thoughts, images, or doubts that feel difficult to leave unanswered. You might check, avoid, seek reassurance, or replay things in your mind to feel certain or prevent something bad from happening. Relief may come—but it doesn’t stay, and the cycle starts again. It can be exhausting, especially when you’re judging yourself for thoughts you didn’t choose. These attempts to feel safe or sure deserve compassion. Together, we can help you have more choice in how you respond, even when your mind keeps asking for certainty.

You don’t have to edit yourself here.

OCD can bring thoughts that feel frightening, embarrassing, or at odds with who you are. Whatever the thought, ritual, or fear, there is room to talk about it here without judgment. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment widely considered the gold standard for OCD. Together, we’ll gradually practice facing uncertainty and stepping back from compulsions, with support and compassion along the way. You deserve care that understands OCD—and space to share the parts you may have felt you had to hide. of you that work hard to protect you.
